Beth was employed by Texas Instruments in Dallas for more than 20 years in the geophysical services area. In 1990, Elizabeth retired from the law firm of Carrington, Coleman, et al, following 10 years of service as a legal secretary.
Beth is a descendant of Sam and Emile Woody, who settled in Wise County in the early 1840s.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband; a brother, Sam Woody Acola and his wife, Betty, of Fort Worth; a sister, Carolyn Acola Phelps and her husband, Richard, of Conroe; a stepson, Marc Clevenger and his wife, Ann, and their daughters, Katie and Jessie.
