Funeral services for Karen Evelyn Gorka Hammerschmidt, 37, of Fort Collins, Colo., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Calvary Episcopal Church in Richmond. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Frankie Rodriguez officiating the services. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m.. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2006, in the chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Karen was born Sept. 12, 1968 in San Marcos, to Dennis and Cindi (Dunn) Gorka. She passed away July 19, 2006 in Richmond.
