Hilma W. Figgs, age 90 of Polk City passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Winter Haven. Mrs. Figg was born in Lakeland to Grover and Pearl Smith and had lived her entire life in the area. She was a retired convenient store manager and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. Mrs. Figgs was preceded in death by her husbands, Edgar Wilder and Vernon Figgs, her daughter, Janice Woods and granddaughter, Baby May. Survivors include 3 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
