MRS HICKMAN DEATH OCCURS
The death of Mrs. Mary Belle Hickman, 71 [1873], wife of Elmer Hickman, 1117 Fourth st., occurred at 2:30 p.m. yesterday [5/14/1944] at St. Clara's hospital. She had been ill two weeks.
The body was removed to the Wright Funeral home, 127 S. Logan st., where the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wed. [5/17/1944] with the Rev. Earl C. Hargrove officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery.
Mrs. Hickman was born Aug. 5, 1872 in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Isaac and Elizabeth Ingram Campbell. Her marriage to Mr. Hickman took place in 1895 and he with a son Raymond, Lincoln, and a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Booten of Chicago, and a grandson, Charles Hickman of Lincoln, survive.
Also surviving are a brother, Barney Campbell of Lincoln and 5 sisters, Mrs. Anna Moos and Mrs. Maud Anderson of Lincoln; Mrs L J. Gleason, Springfield; Mrs. H. L. Petigo, Chicago; and Mrs. Arch Barnes, Lafayette, TN.
Mrs. Hickman was a member of the First Christian church.
