Ashley Elizabeth Anderson, age 9, lost her struggle with leukemia on November 17, 2006. Her strength, courage, and determination were an inspiration to all. Her beauty, intelligence and sweet spirit will always be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents, Craig and Gretchen Anderson, sister, Caroline Anderson, grandparents, Allen and Gretchen Thompson, Allan and Brenda Anderson, Nancy Anderson, great-grandfather, Walter Anderson, aunts and uncles, Tenley Anderson, Mary Anne and Phil Cauthen, Michael and Ann Thompson, Hansel and Jennifer Thompson, Christine Kjeell and Sean Achen, Gwen and Garrett Melich and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends Monday, November 20, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, North Campus, with interment to follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
