Miss Clara M. Alger, sister of Mrs. O. E. merchant of Winters and G. F. Alger of Vacaville and the late Mrs. J. L. Kidd, died at her home in Vacaville Saturday, November 11th. Miss Alger was living with her father, G. C. Alger and at the time of her death was 38 years, 5 months and 15 days of age. The funeral was held Monday and interment was made in the Vacaville cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Merchant have spent the past two weeks at the bedside and in attendance at the last rites.
