Lillian Holford McCuiston

Lillian Holford McCuiston, 94, of Duck Hill, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. She was born on January 21, 1922, in Leicester, England to Thomas Henry and Emma Marion Mason Holford. She was a homemaker and a member of Duck Hill United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Duck Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Buchanan and Rev. Jerry McNeer officiating. Interment followed in the Duck Hill Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Friday evening and one hour prior to the service all at Duck Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Virginia Blakely of Florissant, Mo., Marion Dixon (Stanley) of Duck Hill, Jonnie Timbs (Morris) of Duck Hill, and Rosemary Lancaster (John) of Duck Hill; seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mungo Tecumseh McCuiston; and eight siblings.

Pallbearers will be John Bartlett, Chris Blakely, Mack Lancaster, Mark Lancaster, Tim Laster, Jason Timbs, and Justin Timbs.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada, (662-307-2694).
