Louise Via Seale, 90, ended her life journey, on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at the Blue Ridge Adult Care Home in Crozet, due to complications of heart and Alzheimers disease.

Louise was born on October 21, 1922, in Crozet, Virginia, to the late Dewy and Rosa Lee Via. She was predeceased by four brothers, Edward Via, James Via, Daniel Via, and Frank Via; and one sister, Dolly Via Seale.

Louise graduated from Crozet High School in 1942, before marrying the late Jesse E. Seale Sr. in 1944. Later, Louise worked at ACME Visible Records after receiving her certificate of apprenticeship for printing. She retired from Acme Visible Records after 37 years of service to take care of her husband, Jesse.

Louise and her husband enjoyed many years of traveling in their camper all along the east coast. She also enjoyed taking trips with the Crozet Baptist Church. Louise loved working in her yard. You could drive by her home any day and find her weeding, trimming her hedges and cutting grass. She loved being outdoors, especially sitting on her porch in the evenings. Louise was a member of the Crozet Baptist Church for 84 years, where she was baptized at the age of six, and where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years.

Louise is survived by one son, Jesse E. Seale Jr. and his wife, Kim Pollard Seale, of Crozet, Virginia; two grandchildren, Lisa Cafferty of Virginia Beach, and Scott Seale and his wife, Janice, of Yorktown, Virginia; two step-granddaughters, Dena Peterson and her husband, Dan, of McGaheysville, Virginia, Dana Bridges and her husband, John, of Hanover, Maryland, and Sarah Pollard of Crozet. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

We would like thank Blue Ridge Adult Care Home and Hospice of the Piedmont for their loving care of Louise, especially during her last few weeks of life.

A private graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2013, at Rockgate Cemetery in Crozet, Virginia, with the Reverend David Collyer officiating. Anderson Funeral Home in Crozet, is in charge of arrangements.
