He married the second time in 1909 to Addie Stecher of Milan; she was the daughter of John and Magdalena Stecher of Milan. Addie was born in 1881. Henry and Addie had two children, Goldie and Thelma Grace. Thelma was born March 27, 1913 in Oakland County.
The children were in and out of Catholic orphanages for reasons unknown. After Addie died in 1918, all five of Henry's children were placed in a Protestant orphanage in Detroit. (In 1921, Thelma was adopted out of the Protestant orphanage of Detroit, and her new parents were Daniel and Beulah McFarren. Later Thelma was married and had four children, but never said a word to them about her biological parents, Henry and Addie Williams.)
Then Henry married Nelly Sherman Welch, the widow of Mike Welch. The two were married in Monroe County in June 1920 and lived on her farm near Milan. His children Gordon and Goldie were with them per the 1930 census. His occupation in 1930: American Foundry. The 1940 census says he was a foundry worker. Before that his occupation was farmer.
