Angeline V. Maciejewski passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Pietruszewski) Rezler was born May 15, 1928 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, its Senior Citizens Group, St. Stan’s Mothers Club and the Rosary Society. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and going to the casino.

Mrs. Maciejewski is survived by her husband Richard S. “Dick” Maciejewski whom she married July 2, 1949; her children and their spouses, David and Beverly Maciejewski, Kay and Rick Brzezinski, Elizabeth Larsen, Monica and Mark Koczenasz; her grandchildren, Sara (Dave Owen) Gillisse, Jill (Matt) Nelson, Erin (Christopher) Tully, Nick (Janelle) Brzezinski, Matt (Amber) Brzezinski, Jason (Kellie) Brzezinski, Joshua (Mindy)Williams, Jessica (Matt) Perrine, Jodi Williams, Alecia (Brent) Nelson and Adam Koczenasz; fifteen great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law; Gerrie Rezler, Marg Luczak, John and Arlene Maciejewski. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley “Stubby”, Bernard “Benny” and Edwin “Winky” Rezler; her sister, Evelyn Gramacki;her son-in-law,Denny Larsen.

The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 1503 22nd St. Bay City, MI 48708. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Richard M. Filary with private interment in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Mrs. Maciejewski will lie in state at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to McLaren Visiting Nurse Services and Hospice or the Donor’s Favorite Charity.
