Mrs. Victor Sager, 62, of Rt. 1, Mishicot, died early Tuesday morning at Two
Rivers Municipal Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral
Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, the
Rev. Anthony Betley officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross emetery (sic),
Mishicot.
Mrs. Sager, nee Mayme Sekadlo, was born Sept. 4, 1901, at Hermansville, Mich.
When she was a child the family brought her to a farm near Stangelville. She was
married in November of 1919 at Waukegan, Ill., to Victor Sager. For 11 years she
worked at Montgomery Ward Store at Two Rivers and later until her illness at
Paragon Electric Co. Inc., Two Rivers. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars post at Mishicot.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Earl Rusch, of Two Rivers; a son,
Victor, of Sacramento, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Yagle, of Rt. 1,
Kewaunee, Mrs. Tillie Blahnik, of Two Rivers and Mrs. Jacob Ledvina, of the Town
of Carlton, Kewaunee County; two brothers, George, of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, and Ben,
of Two Rivers and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m.
