Kip Pickard passed away in Redvers, SK on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the age of 101 years.

Clifford Albert, son of George and Rhoda Pickard was born October 28th, 1909 near Fertile, SK. He was the fourth of eight children. Kip worked at home on the family farm until he married Gilberte George on August 14th, 1945. Kip and Gilberte farmed and raised a family of six children. They retired in Redvers in 1974. All his life, Kip loved music. Many hours were spent playing for dances. Kip enjoyed trips to Vegas and playing cards with friends and family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Fertile Community Hall, Fertile, SK with Rev. Cornelia van Bentum officiating. Interment will follow in the Fertile Cemetery.
