Jessica Renee Robb, 20, of Columbia passed away Monday, July 18, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 22, at Millard Family Funeral Home. An additional visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, at the Millard Family Funeral home where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. She was born on Aug. 16, 1995, in Columbia, the daughter of Alan Robb and Kimberly Green. Jessica was a 2016 graduate of Frederick Douglass High School. She had been employed by MBS Textbook Exchange. She had a fun-loving, adventurous and spunky spirit that caused her to be referred to by many as “Firecracker.” She had a deep love for animals, especially kittens. She enjoyed all types of music, with a recently discovered love of “the oldies.” She loved the water — swimming, skiing, and going to a beach any time she could. Jessica is survived by her father, Alan Robb of Centralia; her mother, Kimberly Green (fiancée, Jeffery Forck) of Columbia; one brother, Colby Robb of Hallsville; her paternal grandparents, Brenda Lewis of Centralia and Sid Robb of Columbia; her maternal grandparents, William and Cheryl Green of Columbia; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorials may be made to the Second Chance of Columbia. Arrangements are under the direction of Millard Family Funeral Home, 12 E. Ash St., Columbia, Mo., 65203; 573-442-7112.

A 20-year-old Centralia woman was killed Monday morning during a three-vehicle crash on Highway 22 near Mexico, Mo.
Jessica Robb was driving a 2001 Lincoln Town Car westbound on Highway 22 about 1 mile west of Audrain County Road 379 at 6:30 a.m. Monday when she attempted to pass another vehicle, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. As she was passing the vehicle, Robb reportedly saw a 1998 GMC pickup truck driven by Joseph O’Connor of Centralia in the oncoming lane of traffic. Robb steered her car hard back to the right, turning it 90 degrees, the report said. The pickup truck broadsided Robb’s car and was then struck by an eastbound 2009 Pontiac G6 driven by Seth Foster of Centralia. Robb was pronounced dead at the scene. Foster, 23, suffered minor injuries, the report said. O’Connor, 28, was taken to University Hospital via helicopter, where he remained Tuesday morning in serious condition. Robb’s vehicle and the pickup truck were both totaled, the report said, and Foster’s car sustained extensive damage. Foster was the only driver who had been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the patrol said. It was the sixth fatal accident of July in the patrol’s Troop F district, a 13-county territory of Central Missouri that includes Boone, Callaway and Cole counties, and the 39th of the year, the report said.
