From a 1914 Nance County, Nebraska, newspaper clipping file, transcribed by Linda Berney:

Mrs. Cayton, one of Fullerton's former residents and early pioneers, arrived recently from her home near Grand Junction, Colo., and is visiting this week with her many friends in this city. Mrs. Cayton is the mother of Mrs. J. A. Forbes, living near Palmer, and has spent some time there before coming to Fullerton.

She originally came to Fullerton 32 years ago, and with her family of 7 children, was one of the popular matrons of the town. It will be interesting to our readers to learn of the various members of the family.

Mrs. Cayton reports that Ed. married a Mormon girl and lives in Salt Lake City; Emma and Alice married brothers and live on a fruit farm in western Colorado, adjoining that of their mother; Bessie married Charles Mosher and lives in Colorado; Jim is a forest ranger in the same locality. All are doing well

Mr. Cayton died a year ago and the mother is now making her home with her various children.
