Fredrick Dingle 85 of Richmond passed away July 20, 2016 at Golden Living Center - Golden Rule after a long illness. He was born July 10, 1931 in Greens Fork to Roy M. and Ruth Alice Gold Dingle and lived in this area most of his life.
He served in the Korean War as a Marine
He retired from Belden and was a master carpenter who took great pride in his work.
He was a dedicated member of Ravina Park Baptist Church and was the most giving, gentle, soft spoken, loving man to all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife Wilma of 37 years, two sons Michael D. (Debbie) Dingle, Stephen (Linda) Dingle both of Richmond, one daughter Beth Ann (Terry) Brownell of Dublin, five step children Ben (Doris) Austin III of Richmond, Kathy Newton of St. Petersburg, FL., Nancy (Walt) Gross of Deltona, FL., Vickie Austin of St. Petersburg, FL., Belinda Austin of Naples, FL., twelve grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Susan Smith, three brothers Robert, John, and Clifford Dingle.
Services will be 10:00AM Tuesday July 26, 2016 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Slaven and Rev. Michael Dingle officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Monday at the funeral home.
