He was born April 2, 1938 in Troy, Ohio to Charles Edward Carey and Hilda Tobias Carey. Doug served in the United States Air Force. He married Kathleen Dixon on April 6, 1959 in Troy, Ohio. Doug was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lewisville and retired from American Airlines in the fleet service department. He was also a member of the Troy, Ohio Masonic Lodge # 0014.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; daughters, Marsha Neal and husband, Carey and Lori Carey; two grandchildren, Lauryn Neal and Cameryn Neal and two sisters, Janice and Karen.∼A3C US AIR FORCE
