Funeral services for Allan D Hargrave, 89, of Ogdensburg and formerly of Lisbon at Fox & Murray Funral Home with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Interment at Foxwood Memorial Park. Mr. Hargrave died on Jul. 21, 2016 at Riverledge Healthcare Facility.
Surviving is his wife, Sally; two sons, Kenneth Sherrie Hargrave of Ogdensburg, and Thomas Hargrave and companion June Queor of Waddington; three daughters, Anna Lenga, Carol Robert Whitcome, and Kelley Al Costello all of Ogdensburg; ll grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Richard; and a cousin, Robert Salton.
Allan was born on Jul. 31, 1926 in Lisbon, son of Ivan and Dorothy Pemberton Hargrave. He attended Lisbon and Ogdensburg Sckhools and married Sally Olin on Mar. 27, 1963 at the Presbyterian Church in Canton.
He owned and operated a dairy farm in Lisbon until 1975; also a live stock dealer; went to work for CW Green as a truck driver. Allan was a member of the Lisbon Central Board of Education and Lisbon Co-op.
