Adelia Schmidt, age 92, formerly of the Village of Mishicot, died Wednesday
morning, December 23, 1992, at Hamilton Memorial Home.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 1992, at St. Peter's
Evangelical Lutheran Chruch, Mishicot. The Rev. Herbert Kesting will officiate
and burial will follow in Mishicot Public Cemetery.
She was born March 8, 1900, in the Town of Two Rivers, daughter of the late
Gust and Adathina Betke Zarn. She married Arno Schmidt at St. John's Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, May 17, 1919. She was a member of St. Peter's
Lutheran Church, Mishicot, and the Mishicot Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Norman and Hazel Schmidt, rural
Mishicot, Glenn R. and Jean Schmidt, Fort collins, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Elenora
Engelbrecht, Two Rivers; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her hsuband, two daughters, Delpha Bones, and Vera Jacobson,
three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot, from 9:30
a.m. on Saturday until the time of services. Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot is
assisting the family with arrangements.
