Allie and Jimmy Walker were married in St. Joseph's Church in Chicago on April 11, 1912. The bride walked down the aisle to the song "Will You Love Me in December As You Do in May?" which had been written in 1905 by Walker himself.
After years of infidelity on the part of her husband, Allie very reluctantly filed for divorce on the grounds of 'desertion' in October 1928, although the divorce was not finalized until the fall of 1932. She died at St. Francis Hospital in Miami Beach.
