Mrs. Florence Martin

EAST DETROIT - Mrs. Florence B. Martin, 4992 LaFontaine, Detroit, died of a heart attack in Cottage Grove hospital, March 31 after a two day illness.

The 59-year-old woman is survived by her husband Jesse; sons Albert of East Detroit; John, Canada; Kenneth, Detroit, and Stanley, Miami, Fla.

Also surviving are sisters Mrs. Paul Gerndt, Detroit; and Mrs. Dan Alt Madock, Canada; brothers Kenneth, Canada; and Rev. Finley Dafoe, Rochester. She has seven grandchildren.

Services were held Monday from the Clyne Funeral Home with Rev. A. McAsh of Ebenezer Baptist church officiating.

Burial was in the Cadillac Memorial Gardens East.

Mrs. Martin belonged to the Eastern Chapter of Lodge 420 OES. The organization held graveside services.
