CONWAY - Funeral services for Donald M. Peabody, 47, of Leeds, native of this town who was killed in a tractor-trailer accident on Rte. 91, Windsor, Conn., Thursday, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Newell Funeral Home, 31 Trumbull Rd., Northampton. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Peabody, a resident of Leeds for 21 years, was a veteran of World war II, having served in the Coast Guard. He was a member of the New England Family Campers Association.
Besides his widow, who suffered serious injuries as a passenger in the tractor-trailer, survivors are his mother in Geenfield [sic] and daughter in Ashfield; two sisters, Mrs. Donna Miller of Greenfield and Mrs. Norissa St. Peters of Washington; a grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
