Van Patten Dies After Long Illness
William G. Van Patten, formerly of 1 Luther street, died yesterday at Glenridge Sanatorium after a long illness.
The White funeral home, Scotia, will be open tomorrow after 7 p.m. and the funeral will be conducted there Saturday at 2 p.m. by Rev. W. Raymond Rogers of Scotia Baptist Church. Burial will be in Vale cemetery.
Mr. Van Patten at one time was employed by the Waldorf Bakery Co. as a salesman.
Survivors are a son, August A. Van Patten of Schenectady; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Batkiewicz of California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
