(1930 - 2016)

Lorraine M. Delsman, age 86, formerly of 5018 Stone Road, Whitelaw and currently a resident of Artisan Senior Living, died Wednesday morning, July 27, 2016 at Artisan Senior Living of Manitowoc, surrounded by her loving family.

The former Lorraine Kvitek was born on February 25, 1930 in the town of Cooperstown, daughter of the late Frank and Tillie (Fidler) Kvitek. She was a 1948 graduate of Denmark High School. On January 31, 1951 she was married to Joseph E. Delsman at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kellnersville. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2001.Lorraine worked as a teller at the State Bank of Maribel, State Bank of Francis Creek and the Manitowoc County Bank retiring in 1993 from the Firstar Bank. She enjoyed participating in all of her children's and grandchildren's activities, tending to her vegetable and flower gardens and had a special love for playing Sheepshead. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, St. Anne Altar Society and a former member of the Francis Creek-Rockwood Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her ten children and their spouses: Jean (Stephen) Brazzale, Stevens Point; Gregory Delsman, Manitowoc; Dean (Cynthia) Delsman, Green Bay; Douglas (Becky) Delsman, Cato; Mary Jo (Kurt) Johnson, Indianapolis, IN; Julie (Ron) Luebke, Phoenix, AZ; Christine (David) Clark, Manitowoc; Joseph (Rosanne) Delsman, Reedsville; Marc (Michelle) Delsman, Racine; Tina (Daniel) Wagner, Manitowoc; 21 grandchildren: Jason (Jenny) Brazzale; Adam (Elizabeth) Brazzale; Andrea (Christopher) Dvorachek; Zachary (Amanda) Delsman; Shannon (Eric) Thiry; Tara (Rueben) Kaye; Stacey (Brandon) McMurdie; Dustin (Dana) Delsman; Dylan Delsman; Lauren & Evan Clark; Caleb, Blake, Brooks, Clare & Maris Delsman; Luke & Abby Delsman; Olivia, Ian & Jack Wagner; 13 great-grandchildren: Landon Brazzale; Hannah & Sadie Dvorachek; Evie & Cooper Delsman; Logan & Owen Thiry; Braeden, Hudson & Harper Kaye; Madison, Bennett & Finley McMurdie; other family members include: Nathan & Heather Wicihowski family; Tyler Wicihowski; one brother and sister-in-law: Victor (Betty) Kvitek, Maribel; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Dorothy (Leroy) Krejcarek, Two Rivers; Olive Cretton, Mishicot; three sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law: Gwen (Robert) Braun, Manitowoc; Hector Hunt, OR; Elaine Delsman, Manitowoc; Ruth Delsman, rural Manitowoc; David Delsman, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Tillie Kvitek; her husband: Joseph E. Delsman; one daughter-in-law: Beverly Delsman; three brothers-in-law: Norbert Cretton; Howard Delsman; Kenneth Delsman; two sisters-in-law: Gladys Delsman; Janice Hunt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 126 South Packer Drive, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Becker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial of her cremated remains to follow in the parish cemetery.
