Natchitoches, La., March 22. - Mrs. Aurelia Normand, wife of J. H. Normand, was stricken with apoplexy at about 2:40 yesterday afternoon and died about an hour later. She was buried this evening from the Catholic church to the Catholic cemetery, a large number of relatives and friends attending. The deceased was 66 years of age and leaves a husband, four daughters and two sons, all grown.

Natchitoches, La., March 21. - Mrs. J. H. Normand died here suddenly this evening from heart troubles. Mrs. Normand, together with her husband, has for many years conducted a hotel in this city and was well known. She was admired by all who came in contact with her. She was in the sixty-seventh year of her age and besides her husband leaves two sons, four daughters and a large number of grandchildren to mourn her death. She was a devoted mother and an affectionate wife and her sudden death is universally deplored. The interment will take place from the family residence to-morrow evening at 4 o'clock.
