Bradley Verne Adams
Oct. 31, 1954 – July 22, 2016
Resident of Bay Area
Bradley Verne Adams was born Oct. 31, 1954 at Alameda Hospital. Being born on Halloween it became a source for good nature ribbing. Growing up in the West End Neighborhood of Longfellow Park and School. From Longfellow School and graduating from Encinal High School. He never strayed far from the neighborhood and was known to all in the area. He played football and baseball for the Longfellow 'Tigers.' It was football that was his passion. This was fueled by receiving tickets from his dad to watch the 49er's at Kezar Stadium. The team was not always good, but had many stars and "Hall of Famers." But he was a die-hard fan and loyalty paid off for 5 Super Bowls.
As a young man his passion for football continued, but it had more to do with point spreads and opponent. While watching games at the Tavern with a Motley Crew of individuals. He enjoyed playing games of chance like dice, cards and even shot some pool. He was quite the character, a real treasure to know.
He will definitely missed by those who knew him, but never forgotten as legends are. Goodbye brother Brad. May your dice always be 7's, win by a nose. Your hand (cards) be a gin and rock on forever. Per family request services will be private.
