Sarah met her Heavenly Father on September 23rd when she suddenly and unexpectedly left us. Sarah entered this world in Tacoma on January 31, 1991, bringing joy and a glowing smile everywhere she went. She resided in Kuwait for a short time as a small child; however, Tacoma was her life-long home.

Sarah attended Tacoma Public Schools - Mary Lyon Elementary, Truman Middle and Stadium High School, graduating in 2009. She continued her education at Central Washington University, graduating in 2013. She was currently pursuing a Masters in Education at University of Washington, Tacoma, working to fulfill her dream of being an elementary school teacher. Sarah loved children and children loved her. She returned to the Tacoma School District when she student taught last spring at Boze Elementary, and was looking forward to beginning her teaching career there.

Sarah loved her Seattle Seahawks. This little gal was one of their biggest, loudest, and proudest fans, never missing a home game. Sarah loved many, and was loved by many.

She was greeted in Heaven by her grandfather Buzz ";Pa"; Evans and Aunt Cherri Davis. She is survived by her loving mother Keva Alqabandi, father Bader Alqabandi of Kuwait, brother Fahad ";Hoody"; Alqabandi and like a brother Fikison Bologun, grandmother Sara Evans, the Kehn family - Aunt Vickie, Uncle Jon and cousins Bryce and Chloe, her first and forever love Tyler Cardin, and her pups Howard and Pearl. Also mourning her loss are her extended family and countless friends.

A celebration of Sarah';s life will take place on Saturday, October 4th, at Puyallup Foursquare Church, 601 9th Ave. SE, Puyallup, WA 98372, beginning at 11am. Family friends Pastor Shane and Faith Ecklund traveled from Nashville to officiate and celebrate Sarah';s life. A reception will immediately follow. Sarah would have loved for you to wear your Seahawk gear to celebrate her life.

Her memory can be honored by providing assistance to the students of Boze Elementary School at YouCaring.com. Sarah will live on in our hearts while the donation of her corneas will provide sight to two people.
