It was another sad day in the house of A.C. Barrett as another infant child was taken just seven weeks from the loving arms of his mother. John Alden Barrett was born to Alexander Cross and Martha Ellen Dickinson, February 4, 1887 and died just seven weeks later on March 26, 1887.
He was buried in Maple Row Cemetery along with sister who also passed away aged only seven weeks.
Baby John was preceded in death by his Paternal grand parents, James and Margaret (Butt) Barrett; sister, Lulu May Barrett.
He is survived by his parents; brothers, James William, and Jesse Gilbert; sisters, Eva Iona, Anis Rose, Mellie, Nellie, Mary Estella, Lula May, and Chloe Merle Barrett; his maternal grand parents Samuel and Mary Ann (Fish) Dickinson and several other family members who are saddened by his passing.
