In the 1920 Census he was living in Marlborough, MA with his parents and siblings: May Eunice, William Thomas and Gertrude Lillian. The father was a traveling Salesman, Mother stitched in a shoe factory, William worked the floor in the Shoe Factory.

By the 1930 Census he was living in Lockport, NY with his wife and children: Richard, Florence, Marion and Thomas. He was working as a Motorman on the Electric Railroad. His Dad was born in England, mother born in Mass.

In the 1940 Census he was living in Lockport, NY with his wife and children: Richard, Marion and Thomas. He was a Bus driver and had an 8th grade education.
