She had ten siblings, Mary Luella, James Corwin, George Wilson, Thomas E., Clarence Homer, Maude E., Oliver Howard, Genevieve Miller, Julia J. and John Floyd. She married Samuel Finley Buck on September 28, 1910 in Diagaonal, Iowa after the death of her sister Genevieve. Sam and Lora had three sons Robert Kenneth, Howard Samuel and James Warren. She was also stepmom to Everett Denhart.
