Hideo passed away quietly in the early hours of Aug. 1, 2016 in Morgan Hill.
He will join his wife Lola, who passed in 2008.
Hideo is survived by his son Roger; daughter Elaine; sister Mikiko Eto.
Hideo was a WWII Veteran serving with the MIS. He married after the war and lived mostly in Los Gatos, farming with his brother-in-law Takeo Yuki and Yuki Farms.
Hideo loved the outdoors and animals, primarily through fishing and family pets and enjoyed sports as a participant and fan.
A funeral service will be held at 7 pm Sunday at the San Jose Buddist Church Betsuin 640 N. 5th Street, San Jose.
