Alton J. Wallin, of Louisville, died Thursday, June 16, 1960 in Marianna, Fla. A semi-invalid, he had been on vacation and had started the return trip home Thursday morning when he was fatally stricken.
He was a member of the Buechel Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Etta Burkhart; a son, Jack Wallin; two sisters, Mrs. Ferrell E. Boyles and Mrs. Venice Robinette, and two brothers, H.T. Wallin, Knoxville, Tenn., and B.W. Wallin, Portsmouth, Va.
The funeral was at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 1960 at McAfee Funeral Home, 3928 Bardstown Road. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park.
