Alene S. Carr, age 75, passed away May 20, 1997 in Sandy, Utah.

She was born December 5, 1921 in Tooele, Utah to Joseph A. and Saphronia Buriston Wagstaff. She married Keith Lang Carr on June 29, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nevada.She graduated from Granite High School in 1940 and spent most of her life in the Salt Lake City area. Member of the LDS Church. She was an accomplished seamstress, dancer and cook. Family was very important to her and she was a very compassionate and caring person always helping others. She will be dearly missed.

Survived by her children, daughters, Diane A. Wells; Barbara A. Carr; Paula Dearr; son, Brent C. Carr; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Wagstaff and Duane Wagstaff; sister, Bernice Nasibitt. Preceded in death by son, Paul Keith Carr (July 1976).
