Emery, 53, of 1939 E. Market St., New Albany, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Haas-Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in the Daisy Hill Cemetery, Borden. She died at 3 a.m. today at the Suburban Hospital, Louisville. She was a retired assembly worker for the U.S. Steel Co., New Albany, where she was employed for 28 years. She was a member of the Silver St. Church of Christ. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Wilma Stapes, San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Marjorie Coats, Sellersburg, Mrs. Norma Casey, Pekin and Mrs. Peggy Norris, Borden; three brothers, Omer and Lloyd Durham, both of Sellersburg and Vernice Durham, New Albany. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
