Hernando, Mississippi - Lois Beverly Black Tucker, 88, died April 1, 2010 at her daughter's home in Hernando, MS. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 5 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Born on November 27, 1921 to Samuel and Aylene Arterburn Black, Beverly was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and active in Community Bible Study. She was the wife of Albert Duggin Tucker for 44 years.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband and her brother, Samuel David Black. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Sheryl Frances Tucker Daniels (Arthur Turner, Jr.) and Sydney Aylene Tucker Williams (Terry Wayne); grandchildren, Arthur Turner Daniels, III (Pat) and Sydney Catharine Daniels Hennessy (John Edward); great-grandchild, George Tucker Hennessy; brother, Charles Edward Black; and many nieces and nephews.
