"Dennis H. Borders, 54, of Bardstown, passed away Friday August 5, 2016 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born May 19, 1962 in Bardstown, loved sports, an avid card player, and attended Mill Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bennie and Della Gilkey; and paternal grandmother, Maggie Beavers.
He is survived by his four children, Jessica (Brad) Leake of Bloomfield, Justin Borders, Janna Borders, and Carson Jury all of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Natalie Leake and Anthony Borders; parents, Harold and Linda Borders of Bardstown; and brother, Ronald Bruce Borders of Bardstown.
His funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday August 9, 2016 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Brother Danny Haynes will officiate. Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Monday August 8 and 9 to 11 am Tuesday August 9 at Barlow Funeral Home."
