Dr. Gary E. Krolikowski, age 63, of Castile, passed away on Friday August 5, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Warsaw, New York on May 14, 1953 a son of the late Theodore F. Krolikowski and Adele (Wojtowicz) Krolikowski of Perry.
Gary was a 1971 graduate of Perry High School, University of Potsdam, he received his masters degree at University of St. Lawrence and Northeastern University and his doctorate in Psychology at the University of Phoenix. He taught Psychology at Genesee Community College, Monroe Community College, Nazareth College, Rochester Institute of Technology, SUNY Brockport and retired from SUNY Geneseo. He received several recognitions through Who’s Who’s for his teaching of Psychology. He was a co-author in a book in Psychology.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish, in Perry and a member of the National Diabetes Association. He enjoyed boating, cooking, canning, gardening, watching TV and walking the family dog, Laddie.
He is survived by his mother, Adele (Wojtowicz) Krolikowski; brother, Robert Krolikowski of Troy; aunt, Betty Wojtowicz; along with many cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Theodore F. Krolikowski.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, August 10th, at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street in Perry.
Prayers at the funeral home at 10:15 will precede a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish, St. Joseph’s Church, in Perry on Thursday, August 11th, at 11:00 a.m.
He will be laid to rest in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery in Perry.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association 1701 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, Virginia 22311 or to the Humane Society of the United States 1255 23rd Street, NW, Suite 450, Washington, DC 20037.
