Major League Baseball player. Originally drafted by the Houston Astros in the 31st round of the 1992 MLB draft out of high school, he instead chose to attend Washington State University. From there, he would be drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 7th round of the 1996 draft. The left-handed throwing pitcher was traded while in the minor league to the Seattle Mariners on July 26, 1999. He made his major league debut that August 27, coming out of the bullpen in a loss to the New York Yankees. He pitched in 43 total games with Seattle in 1999 and 2000, appearing 37 games in 2000, sporting a 3.40 ERA, striking out 32 hitters. He pitched in two games with the Mariners in the 2000 American League Championship Series against the Yankees. His last professional season came in 2003, when he pitched in the San Diego Padres minor league system.
