Geo. Wavrunek, 44, Rites on Thursday
Funeral services were held at 9:30 this Thursday morning for George Wavrunek, 44, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, with the Rev. Geo. Beth officiating. Mr. Wavrunek died Monday morning at the Two Rivers Municipal hospital where he had been a patient for eight days.
Mr. Wavrunek was born May 8, 1914 in the Town of Eaton, son of James and Catherine Buresh Wavrunek Sr. When a young man he moved to Milwaukee where he married the former Mabel Sinkula. He acquired a farm in the Town of Mishicot 17 years ago.
Besides his wife and parents, he leaves six daughters, Shirley, Beverly, Bernice, Judith, Katherine and Suzanne at home; three sons, Allan, Ronald and Gerald also at home; four brothers, Anton, Kewaunee, James Jr., Route 2 and Sylvester of the Town of Eaton and Edward, Town of Preble; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Mleziva, route 2, and Mrs. Michael Stahl, Luxemburg.
