Mabel Wavrunek, 58, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died Tuesday at Park Lawn
Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lambert
Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot.
The Rev. Earl Brouchoud will officiate with burial in the parish
cemetery.
Mrs. Wavrunek, nee Mabel Sinkula, was born July 9, 1918, in the Town
of Carlton, daughter of the late Adolph Sinkula and Stella Jirasek
Sinkula. She was married to George Wavrunek Feb, 24, ___. He preceded
her in death Sept. 22, 1958. In 1975, she was engaged to Raymond Riha.
Mrs. Ravrunek was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Altar Society
of the church and the Happy Hoppers. She also was a member of Two Rivers
Senior Citizens who will meet in a body at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the
funeral home.
Survivors include three sons, (private); six daughters, (private); her
mother, Mrs. Stella Sinkula, of Rt. 1, Kewaunee; three brothers, Sylvester
and Arnold of Rt. 1, Kewaunee, and Bernard of Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs.
Emil (Leone) Novak and Mrs. Daniel (Adeline) Bauer, of Rt. 1, Kewaunee;
and 13 grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday where a
memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
