Obituary: New Albany Tribune, New Albany, Indiana, 24 May 1999, page 3, column 1, reads: Lillian M. Hurst – BORDEN – Lillian M. Hurst, 67, died Friday at her home. She was a native of Borden, the former Lillian M. Jackson, a retired school bus driver for West Clark Community School Corp., having driven for 20 years and a member of Daisy Hill United Methodist church. Survivors include her husband, Tommy L. Hurst; four sons, Steve, Mike, Sam, and Stanley Hurst; two brothers Arnold Jackson of shoals and Gregory Jackson of Pekin; seven sisters, Iris Beyl of Sellersburg, Roberta Jackson of New Albany, Mabel Pixley of Fredericksburg, Evelyn Lincks of Salem, Gale Jackson of Salem, Wanda Freed of Martinsburg and Sarah Sprinkle; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter. Services are 1 p.m. today at the church, with burial in Daisy Hill Cemetery. Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
