George Myers, one of Colusa county's well known and substantial citizens, died at his home adjoining this city Thursday of pneumonia. The funeral will take place tomorrow, Sunday, at 10 o'clock a.m. from the residence and at 10:30 o'clock from the Catholic church here, and the services will be conducted by the Rev. Father McGrath. The body will be laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery.
Mr. Myers was born on September 7, 1863, at Grand Island, and was the son of Jacob Myers and Margaret Coughlan. Surviving him are his wife and daughter, Margaret, and three step-children - Mrs. Marie Harrison, Fred Schutz, and Mrs. Ella Stafford; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. John Coughlan; one sister, Mrs. M. D. Tate; a brother, John Myers; and a half brother, Will Wallace; and his grandparents George Myers and John and Johanna Siefert.
