Frances "Sue" Van Dyke, 71, died Monday after a 14 year battle with cancer. A native of Oak Hill, W. Va., She has resided in South Tampa 43 years. A devoted mother, she was employed by Sands at Westinghouse and MacDill A.F.B. Preceded in death by beloved son, Capt. Ron Van Dyke, TFD. She leaves behind loving husband W.D."Bill" Van Dyke, Son, Lawrence Van Dyke and wife, Joyce of Tampa; Daughters, Linda and Bert Baker of Mobile, Ala., Diana Carol Van Dyke or Tampa, Sharon and Trip Washburn of Greenville, S.C., Regina and Kelly Farmer of Flowers Branch, Ga.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
