Robert K. Godfrey, 67, of 809 Van Buren St., died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998 at 2:45 a.m. at his home following an illness. Born April 10, 1931 in Chicago to Earl and Evelyn Webber Godfrey, Robert was a self-employed truck driver. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of the Walkerton American Legion Post No. 189. Survivors include is companion, Delores Jensen of Walkerton; his two daughters, Kathy and Laura, both of California; his two sons, Robert, Jr. and Jerry, also of California; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour prior to Saturday's services. Memorial services will take place Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Rannells Funeral Home, the Koontz Lake Chapel.
