Born September 29th, 1930 in Los Angeles, California to Maurice and Anne Abell.
Art graduated from Dorsey High School in 1948 and from UCLA in 1952.
He served in the Army between 1952 and 1954 at Camp San Luis and in Japan during the Korean War.
He worked as a CPA for 36 years until his retirement in 1994.
He married Barbara Ruth Forbes in 1963 and was preceded in death by her after 49 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by his brother Ronald.
He is survived by his brother Bruce; 3 sons Chris, Devin and Jeff and 7 grandchildren.
