Robert Kevin Wiegert, age 42, of Long Beach, Calif., passed away Sunday, October 4, 1998, in California.
Christian Funeral Services will be held, 11 a.m., on Saturday, October 10, 1998, at the Lambert Funeral Home in Mishicot, with the Rev. James Price officiating. Burial will take place in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
Robert was born June 28, 1956, in Milwaukee, and attended Mishicot High School. He was currently a student at Long Beach Community College, in California, where he was majoring in Psychology. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Green Bay Packers. His interests included reading and music. He also enjoyed raising birds.
Survivors include one son, Matthew Kevin Wiegert, St. Louis, Mo.; his parents, Robert and Janice Wiegert, Mishicot; one brother Ryan Wiegert, Mishicot; three sisters, Connie and David Hedman, Two Rivers, Wendy and Rev. James Price, Eitzen, Minn. and Lisa Wiegert, Mishicot. Robert is further survived by two nephews, Shawn Wiegert and Joshua Price, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Anna Wiegert; maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Edna Beeck; one aunt, Audrey Stevenette; and an uncle Clarence Wiegert Jr.
Friends may call at the Lambert Funeral Home, in Mishicot after 10 a.m., on Saturday, until the time of funeral service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name, for St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Mishicot
