Nancy Red Cloud-Perez, 63, Pine Ridge, died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Pine Ridge Hospital.

Survivors include one son, Travis Thunder Hawk, Pine Ridge; four daughters, Brenda Brewer, Oma Perez and Amy McBride, all of Pine Ridge, and Susan Red Cloud, Rapid City; her father, Chief Oliver Red Cloud, Pine Ridge; five brothers, Verdell Red Cloud, Marty Red Cloud Sr., Guy Red Cloud, and Paul Red Cloud, all of Pine Ridge, and Lyman Red Cloud, Rapid City; one sister, Theresa Red Cloud, Pine Ridge; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A two-night wake began Tuesday at Old Pine Ridge High School Gym. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at the gym with the Rev. Steve Sanford officiating and traditional Lakota services by Steve Dubray and Irby Hand. Burial will be at Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
