Leonard T. (Len) Galante, 77, of Woodbridge, VA, died August 5, 2016 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He was a retired USAF Colonel.
Galante was preceded in death by his father Anthony Galante; mother Marie Bianchi Galante Assenzio; brother Donald; and sister Dolores Regnone.
He is survived by his wife Susan of Woodbridge, VA; brother Richard of Lombard, IL; sister Marilyn Schuman (Ken) of Cape Coral, FL; daughters Lisa of Rio Rancho, NM; Laura Hartman (Mike) of Swansea, IL; Linda of Camden, DE; son Leonard Jr. (Lisa) of Albuquerque, NM; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 7:00-9:00p.m. Tuesday, August 16th at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge VA. A memorial mass is scheduled for 10:30a.m. Wednesday, August 17th at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Woodbridge VA. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
