Mrs. Cain was born in Geauga County, Ohio, Feb. 9th, 1836; was married Jan. 17th, 1858; came to Ringgold County, Iowa, April, 1866. She was a kind companion and a good mother. She leaves a husband and three children. She never united with the church, but when about to depart this life she told her husband and children that she expected to meet them in Heaven. She was sick but a few days, but during her illness she was very submissive. Thus one more loved one has gone before. May God bless the family. W.
Daughter of George and Minerva Enos-Brown, she had a total of six children: Cora and Flora, born Dec 25, 1862 both died within a month of birth, as did son Alman. Lura, Josephine and Oscar survived her.
