He was born Oct. 18, 1957, in Lubbock, TX. He was an electronics technician and had lived in Lubbock most of his life.
Survivors include two sons, Joel Anderson, Jr. and Chris Anderson , both of Lubbock; his mother, Mary Florence Anderson of Lubbock; three brothers, Alvin Anderson and Jimmy Anderson, both of Lubbock and Jay Anderson of Rhome; and a sister, Karen Simpson of Cleveland, Okla.
