She was born on Dec. 4, 1927, in Houma, LA. She later married Alvin Edwin Anderson on Oct. 23, 1945, in Houma.
She was a member of Sunset Church of Christ. She was known as "Grandma Flo" at Nautilus Child Care Center in Lubbock. She moved to the Lubbock area in the 1940´s from Los Angeles, CA.
Survivors include her three sons Alvin Anderson and Jimmy Anderson both from Lubbock and Jay Anderson from Rhome, Texas; daughter Karen Simpson from California; sister Marie Miller from Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and seven grandchildren.
